Asus launches Ubuntu Netbook Asus, a company who already has some experience in launching products with Ubuntu has released a new Ubuntu-based netbook: the EeePC 1225C. It features an 11.6" screen with a 1366 x 768 resolution, a 1.6 or 1.8 Ghz Intel Atom N2600/2800, 2GB or RAM and a 320 or 500GB hard disk. It also has a 0.3MP camera and the usual stuff, including a USB 3.0 port and both VGA and HDMI ports and comes with a 3 or 6 cell battery with up to 9 hours of battery life. Lets hope Asus fifth attempt at distributing netbooks with Ubuntu become a success.
