Musical Friday Ordinary Love

Dear friends,

I must make a confession in front of you all :) I grew up with this band, loving this band, this adorable Irish rock band from Dublin. I always wanted to see them live and hopefully I shall, one day! I love Bonos voice and I love hearing The Edge at the guitar and also his backing vocals... I even like Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen although I did not get caught up with them that much. I had moments in which I would listen only to U2 until I would get bored and then the next day I would come back ;))) Hey! They are Irish, how could I not love them!? I believe I first listened to the album Joshua Tree and that, my friends, was already their 5th album!!! I fell in love with "Where the streets have no name" and "I still havent found what Im looking for"... not to mention "With or Without You"... They already have 12 albums and they are on their way on pulling another one! Way to go, you Irish talented lads!!!

Its been four years since U2 released new material, so now that the veteran rockers are back with their sprawling single "Ordinary Love", fans are more excited than ever. The song may be just a feature off the soundtrack to the film Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, but new music from the Irish foursome means that an upcoming album could be on the way.
With the gorgeous chorus "We cant fall any further / If we cant feel ordinary love / We cannot reach any higher / If we cant deal with ordinary love" sung by frontman Bono, the new track has been backed with an equally stunning lyric video, featuring the words scrawled all over different moving scenes, almost stop-motion-like.
